Top 6 NFL QB’s of All-Time
The quarterback position continues to be the prized position in the NFL and a position that can make or break the success of any organization. While every position has a huge impact on the outcome of a game, a costly mistake by a quarterback could swing a game in the opposite direction while a big time play could lead a team to the win. This is the difference in having a good quarterback or having a great quarterback and even in some cases having one of All-Time greatest quarterbacks.
Over the course of the history of the NFL, many great quarterbacks football players have stepped on the football field from the likes of Sid Luckman and Otto Graham to Bart Starr Johnny Unitas to Dan Marino and Joe Montana to Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. The impact of these great quarterbacks continue to help evolve the position. In the end only six of the greatest quarterbacks could make the list.

Here is the Top 6 Quarterbacks of All-Time:
- Tom Brady, New England Patriots & Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The debate over the number one quarterback of All-Time will continue to go on but it is nearly impossible not to put Tom Brady at the top of the list as the Greatest Quarterback of All-Time and refer to him as the Goat (Greatest of All-Time). After being drafted by the New England Patriots in the 6th round of the 2000 NFL draft, Brady has proved his critics wrong helping the team win six Super Bowl titles before helping guide the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to the Super Bowl LV crown. Along with the rings, Brady ranks near the top in every offensive category for a quarterback including throwing for 79,204 yards to go with 581 career touchdowns while winning three NFL MVP award and five Super Bowl MVP awards.
- Joe Montana, San Francisco 49ers & Kansas City Chiefs
Coming in just behind Brady on this list is the former San Francisco 49ers great Joe Montana. Prior to Brady defining the role winning seven Super Bowl titles, many looked at Montana as the greatest quarterback of All-Time after winning four Super Bowl titles, three Super Bowl MVP’s, two league MVPs while helping evolve the quarterback position. Montana helped turn the San Francisco 49ers into one of the top dynasties of All-Time while making them a contender. Over his career, the former 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback threw for 40,551 yards to go along with 273 touchdowns and 139 interceptions. In addition, Montana put together one of the greatest Super Bowl runs of All-Time throwing for 11 touchdowns during the 1989 Super Bowl run.
- Peyton Manning, Indianapolis Colts & Denver Broncos
A name that some have at the top of their top quarterback list is the former Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos great Peyton Manning. While Brady gets the nod by so many due to the Super Bowl Titles, many believe Manning was the better passing quarterback and one that evolved the game with his ability to call his own plays and audible at the line of scrimmage. Over his career Manning won two Super Bowl titles, one Super Bowl MVP award, and five NFL MVP awards and made 14 Pro Bowl teams while finishing his career was the leader in many offensive stats including yards passing with 71,940 yards and touchdown passes with 539 as well the most passing touchdowns in a single season with 55.
- Johnny Unitas, Baltimore Colts
Another Colt on this list is the former Baltimore Colts legend Johnny Unitas who showcased his talents at a position that had yet evolved in a league that was many years away from becoming a passing league like it is today. Over his career Unitas threw for 40,239 yards passing to go along with 290 touchdown passes. His success on the field helped lead the Colts to three NFL Championships and was a member of the Super Bowl V winning Colts teams. Along with those numbers, Unitas won three league MVP awards, led the league in passing and touchdowns in four different seasons while being named to 10 Pro Bowl teams. Unitas was named to the 50th, 75th and 100th Anniversary All-Pro teams.
- Otto Graham, Cleveland Browns
Well before the evolution of the game and the high offensive and scoring games of today, Otto Graham was helping dominate the league as he led his Cleveland Browns team to the league championship in 10 straight seasons from 1946 to 1955 while winning three championships over that span. Over his career Graham threw for 13,499 yards to go along with 174 touchdowns while adding 33 career rushing touchdowns. In addition to the numbers, Graham won three league MVP awards, was named to the first team All-Pro on four different occasions, and led the league in passing yards and touchdowns. In the end, the numbers don’t look like other great Quarterbacks of All-Time but Graham dominated an option style offensive league while showcasing the ability of the pass.

Over the course of his career Breeds has racked up a ton of accolades including the Super Bowl MVP and winning one Super Bowl. In addition, Brees has led the league seven times in passing yards, four times in passing touchdowns and was named to 13 Pro Bowl teams.
